VAINL ARCHIVE Delivers Duo of Remastered Reebok Daytona DMX Runners
The Japanese touch.
Youthful Japanese imprint VAINL ARCHIVE has made a name for itself with an appealing blend of sportswear and tailored items, offering up cropped double-breasted jackets, loose trench coats, cropped chinos and even leather down jackets. Having already released collaborative KEEN sandals and Reebok Club C shoes earlier this year, VAINL ARCHIVE is rejoining Reebok for a duo of Daytona DMX runners.
Dubbed the “CONNECTED” pack, the duo of retro runners are offered in either black or beige-tinged colorways, with tonal details informing the mesh and leather uppers. Colorful accents on the outsole are mirrored onto the insoles, which are printed with “VAINL ARCHIVE CONNECTED Reebok.” Otherwise, the shoes remain true to their heritage, utilizing neutral hues to keep the hefty runners relatively understated.
The sneakers arrive at Reebok Classic’s Japanese site and VAINL ARCHIVE stockists on December 25 for ¥17,280 JPY (approximately $155 USD).
Elsewhere, Reebok’s Daytona “MU Pack” collection received an official release date.
