Following up from the recent closer look at the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “Volt” colorway, we now get a better look at the “Black” version. Much like its neon counterpart, this Off-White™ x Nike AF-1 sees technical uppers as it employs a ripstop material matched with synthetic panels. Fused together with taped seams, the shoe also has a deconstructed aesthetic as seen in the tongue, the Swoosh logo stitching, and printed branding at the lateral side and heel.
Virgil Abloh‘s design DNA can be seen in the use of quotations present at the heel with the embossed “LOGO” text, the midsole’s ”AIR” stamp, “SHOELACES” on the tips of the shoelaces, and in the new baby blue zip-tie.
The Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “Black” arrives on December 19 at select Nike Sportswear retailers like SNS and Nike SNKRS for $170 USD. In other footwear news, Nike’s Air Max2 Light returns in two bold “Grape” options.
