Air Jordan 11 "Bred" Slated for Holiday 2019 Release
Space Jams, Concords and now Breds.
With the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” later this week, more news has surfaced in regards to a rerelease of the Air Jordan 11 “Bred,” slated to drop during 2019’s holiday season.
The three AJ11 titans — “Space Jam,” “Concord,” and “Bred” — are the most iconic colorways as they were worn by MJ on-court. In 2016, Nike set a new record through the rereleasing of the “Space Jams,” becoming the biggest sneaker release in the company’s history. With the highly-anticipated “Concord” retro approaching, it only makes sense for Nike and Jordan Brand to plan the release of the third titan, the Chicago Bulls-themed “Bred.”
While yet to be confirmed, it is speculated that the 2019 AJ11 ”Bred” will retain a higher cut of patent leather, and just like the upcoming “Concords,” they are also believed to be swapping the traditional “23” hit on the heel for “45,” in a clever ode to Michael Jordan‘s coming-out-of-retirement jersey number.
