'SNL' Puts Together a "Live Sheck Wes" Parody, "Live Ginsburg"
Paying homage to Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Following up a Lil Pump “Gucci Gang” skit, Saturday Night Live recently put together a “Live Sheck Wes” parody for its latest episode hosted by Steve Carrell.
The digital piece from the night stars Pete Davidson, Chris Redd and Kate McKinnon who reprises her role of the Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Dubbed “Live Ginsburg,” the music video is a play on Sheck Wes’ MUDBOY hit “Live Sheck Wes” and serves to highlight the resilience of the 85-year-old American figure.
Ginsburg recently made headlines when she fell in her office, breaking several ribs and was reportedly more worried about the timing of the accident. Throughout the parody “Live Ginsburg and I ride for Ginsburg” rings over the original track in a hilarious highlight of Ginsburg’s unwavering will.
