Following the reveal of its Fall/Winter 2018 “System on Carbon” collection, C2H4 put together a video lookbook to reiterate the range’s theme of futuristic existentialism.

Expressing established elements of computer science technology and sci-fi, the visual explores the relationship between binary computer code and DNA structures via a fictional world. The concept of digitalizing the human body into code serves as the main narrative point and questions a future where cyberization defines the human form.

Additionally, in the video lookbook, C2H4 reveals a custom of Nike‘s Air Vapormax 97 custom that references the circuit board inspiration found throughout its FW18 collection. The “Silver Bullet” colorway is given a light up component at the tongue tag and an electronic instrument housing pouch and panel at the heel attached to striking red “data cables” that cut into the midfoot of the shoe.

Take a look at the shoes above and check out C2H4’s FW18 “System on Carbon” video lookbook below. Also, look for C2H4’s FW18 collection to be available online and at select retailers November 12.

In case you missed it, Off-White™’s SS19 collection is now available for pre-order.
