CELINE Announces Plans to Separate Men's & Women's Runway Shows
Creative director Hedi Slimane will showcase two different collections each season.

Though CELINE‘s initial runway presentation may not have sat well with most critics, the fashion house is already making moves for its next showcase. Along with Givenchy, the Parisian label will be separating its menswear and womenswear collections, with the next mens’ collection set to debut in January for Fall 2019. While CELINE and Givenchy segregate their collections, other major brands, including Gucci, Balenciaga and CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC have recently consolidated their runways.
CELINE neglected to confirm the rationale behind its decision, though the move will allow for much more succinct presentations — Hedi Slimane‘s debut collection weighed in at an imposing 96 looks.
In the meantime, die hard Phoebe Philo fans recently drove up resale prices for the former CELINE designer’s original creations.
