Not done with collabs just yet, Wasted Youth recently teamed up with afterbase on an exclusive filled pop-up. Finishing off the year strong, Verdy is back in Japan to spread his take on streetwear throughout his home nation, this time in Tokyo’s neighboring Osaka prefecture.
Centered around a more aggressive skate aesthetic, the exclusive range features a mashup of the Osaka retailer’s logo and the crushed beer can graphics associated with Verdy’s fledgling label. Hoodies, T-shirts and caps are decorated with motifs and text localized to reference the rich skate scene in Osaka and the youth culture that surrounds it. While lifestyle items include a printed tote bag and a plush crushed beer can pillow decorated with the same graphic found in the garment range.
