Kim Jones' KAWS x Dior Menswear Capsule Drops in Mere Days
The designer’s first collection has an official release date.

Dior recently revealed the campaign imagery for its Kim Jones-designed Spring/Summer 2019 collection, showcasing a variety of sporty goods emblazoned with the house’s signature Bee logo, reimagined by famed street artist KAWS. The fashion house also teased that the release would come ” sooner than you think” — few could have expected that it would launch even before the new year.
Neutral tones inform the “DIOR”-branded track jackets, sweaters and T-shirts, each embroidered with KAWS’ revamped Bee or a chest patch inspired by name tag stickers. Leather bags feature rollercoaster buckles courtesy of ALYX‘s Matthew M Williams and tonal straps finished with jacquard “CHRISTIAN DIOR” branding. A selection of oversized sunglasses and high top sneakers printed with all-over logos completes the athleisure-leaning drop.

Meanwhile, Uniqlo recently dropped the latest range of KAWS’ collaborative Sesame Street clothing.
