Givenchy Will Return to Paris Fashion Week in January 2019
With the brand returning to a separate menswear runway.

In a switch away from the trend from unisex runways, Givenchy has announced that it will be moving back to the menswear calendar for the fall/winter 2019 season. WWD reports that the house will now showcase on Jan 16 during Paris Men’s Fashion Week after previously showcasing coed shows after Claire Waight Keller’s appointment.
Givenchy released a statement on the move, saying “Granting men’s wear a dedicated platform starting from January reflects the house’s support of Claire Waight Keller’s vision for the brand.” The move is notable for happening at a time when multiple brands, such as Maison Margiela, JW Anderson and CELINE, were moving towards a coed system.
