Versace Readies Its Take on the Apple Computers Retro Sneaker

Since being appointed Versace‘s Head Designer of Sneakers, Salehe Bembury has moved the Italian luxury fashion label’s footwear options in a distinctively new direction.
Following the release of the Chain Reaction, Bembury is gearing up to make some more noise in the sneaker world with a take Apple Computers’ iconic sneaker. Maintaining much of the same design, Versace’s version is constructed of modern materials and features multi-color Medusa head branding at the midfoot and tongue. Another change comes at the sole unit, which has been stripped down to resemble the split cupsole unit we have been seeing on adidas’s Continental 80.
