A Closer Look at Versace's Fall/Winter 2018 Chain Reaction Collection
Brand new looks for the hefty runner.

Versace is readying a slew of eye-catching Chain Reaction silhouettes for Fall/Winter 2018, ranging from bold patterns to muted neutrals — as muted as the clunky runner can get, at least. Some of the more aggressive iterations include plaid and leopard print models, with more overstated detailing in the form of bright laces, shiny translucent cages and furry zebra patterns. A monochrome variant serves as a palette cleanser for the more outré sneakers, but it retains the enormous sole and Versace Medusa Head branding on the heel. For extra wintertime warmth, the sneaker also appears in a tall, padded silhouette reminiscent of a snowboarding boot. These styles tone down the patterns and colors, allowing the substantial shoes to speak for themselves. Look for the Fall/Winter 2018 Chain Reaction collection at Versace flagship stores, including an upcoming pop-up at Hong Kong’s Harbour City Atrium II, happening from June 13 – June 17.
Expect the new Chain Reactions to hit stockists in the coming months, along with other Fall/Winter 2018 collections.
