Versace‘s head designer of sneakers has offered a sneak peek at his latest creation. Salehe Bembury took to Instagram to tease next year’s Chain Reaction silhouette. One of the more popular chunky designer sneakers, the first iteration of Chain Reaction only recently saw a general release, and the new design aims to refine the original.

Boasting a black midsole and matching outsole with a dark translucent “cage,” the new version features spotted blue suede on the toe, meshing with earthy and pink-toned panels elsewhere on the upper. Black illustrations can be seen through the semi-opaque cage, as well as a pink accent leading up to the tongue. Black and white laces lead around from the front to the heel tab on the rear, tying in with the darker detailing near the sockliner. A Versace logo and the brand’s linear branding appear on the lateral side of the upper and midsole, respectively.

Expect the new silhouette to hit stores early next year.

Elsewhere, the weighty sneaker surfaced in a high-top iteration.
