For those that followed the NBA in the ’90s, the mention of Grant Hill will instinctively bring up images of Hill in the flaming horse head Pistons jersey, laced in a pair of his signature FILA 96 GH II sneakers. While the hall of famer has been in retirement from professional basketball since 2013, that hasn’t stopped him from showing his commitment to the sport, as shown in his work as a host on NBA TV’s NBA Inside Stuff segment.

Taking to Instagram, Hill confirmed a lifetime contract with FILA, where he went on to state “FILA was there for my first professional steps on the court, We have now come full circle and I am thrilled to be a part of the family once again. I’m grateful for the brand’s continued loyalty and support as we begin this new chapter together.”

Stay tuned for more info on what new projects G-money and FILA have in the pipeline. In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 1 warms up in fuzzy “Parachute Beige/Lava Glow” colorway.
