Japanese outdoor label Snow Peak returns to our pages, this time granting us an in-depth look at its upcoming Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Having joined forces with Suntory, Teva and JOURNAL STANDARD earlier this summer, the Japanese imprint’s stand-alone offering carries forth its signature ethos, fabricating neo-urban lifestyle essentials that can easily transition to a rugged outdoorsy state of mind.

A wide assortment of colors were called upon, including blue, yellow, green and red, with steady injections of white and black dispersed throughout, however, stray away from the tonal vibrancy often associated with spring/summer, opting instead for muted shades geared towards fall-friendly vibes. The collection itself throws a spotlight on lightweight outerwear, most of which are classic silhouette styles that have been twisted in such a way that breads something different altogether. For instance, a navy anorak welcomes an elongated base, while a front-side zip compartment elevates a lowly trench coat. An assortment of utility-style vests, in addition to relaxed shirting and trouser options round out the seasonal offering.

Be sure to keep tabs on the brand’s website for the collection’s impending drop date. Meanwhile, in other fashion news, archive Raf Simons “Riot! Riot! Riot!” bomber sold on Grailed for $47,000 USD.
