Following behind many sought-after releases from Virgil Abloh’s collaborative project with Nike, the long-awaited Off-White™ x Blazer “Spooky Pack” hit select shelves on October 3. Just in time for Halloween, the two colorways were conceived as a referential offering that alludes to the spectacle. The “Grim Reaper” is draped in an upper of tonal black hues, while the “All Hallows Eve” exchanges neutral coloring for a bold orange reworking.
Known for his eclectic approach to design with the Oregon-based footwear imprint, Abloh sustains this work ethic by bringing a multitude of fabrics to the silhouette; however, the translucent Flymesh paneling grabs the most attention. Completing the offering with a group of accents, the appearance of the notable industrial medial text, large contrasting Swooshes, tacked patch and zip-tie rounds together the pack.
