Kanye West Submits Kid Cudi Collab for the Grammy's Best Rock Song & Performance Awards
For the ‘Kids See Ghosts’ record “Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2).”
As TMZ reports, Kanye West is hoping to score a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.
Kanye and his crew have submitted several nomination requests for the 2019 Grammys, including Producer of the Year. However, the 21-time Grammy winner is also hoping that his “Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2)” record with Kid Cudi – which was released as part of their collaborative Kids See Ghosts project — is included in the list of nominees for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song categories. In order to obtain those accolades, Kanye would first have to make it through the first round of balloting, which leads to the actual nominations and involvement in the final award ceremony. In the past, Kanye West has been nominated for a Grammy award an impressive 68 times.
Presently, Kanye West is busy putting together his next major studio album, Yandhi.
