Todd Phillips' ‘Joker’ Casts Its Bruce Wayne & Alfred Pennyworth
A child actor joins the cast.

With director Todd Phillips‘ highly-anticipated Joker film slated to arrive next year, more and more details have begun to surface. After receiving a first look at Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime and getting a few glances of him in action, fans now know who will play Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth.
According to Collider Phillips has chosen child actor Dante Pereira-Olson to portray young Bruce Wayne. Pereira-Olson recently played a younger version of Joaquin Phoenix‘s character in You Were Never Really Here. On the other-hand, Alfred Pennyworth, the Wayne’s trusted butler, will be played by Douglas Hodge. Other actors involved in the new film include Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Marc Maron, Frances Conroy, Glenn Fleshler, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
Todd Phillips’ stand-alone Joker film is tentatively set to release on October 4, 2019. In more entertainment news, Gal Gadot shares Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed back seven months.
