Brain Dead x Converse Prepare Mismatched Clothing Collaboration
Complementing the mismatched Chuck Taylor sneakers.
Following collaborations with BEAMS and Carhartt WIP, Brain Dead keeps the momentum going with a collection of collaborative Converse gear. Dropping alongside the recently-revealed Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70, the gear encompasses a 50-50 bomber jacket and hoodie, mock-neck “Bananas” sweater and a pair of bags: a hefty tote and tiny shoulder bag. Hidden detailing accompanies the bold prints and branding; for instance mismatched bomber jacket/hoodie hybrid utilizes Primaloft lining for extra winter warmth, while the sweater sports inside-out terry fleece to drive the patchwork motif home. Similarly, the gleefully clashing prints on the bags ties in with the contrasting panels of the Chuck Taylor sneakers.
