Brain Dead Readies a Multi-Pattern Converse Chuck Taylor All Star '70 Collab
The LA imprint offers its take on the classic model.
Bringing its cult-inspired aesthetic to the sneaker world once again, Brain Dead and Converse are preparing to release a Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 collab.
The Los Angeles-imprints take on the classic footwear model with a wild mix of prints and evocative text embellishment on the sole unit. Centered around a reverse design, the shoes feature a thick canvas upper expressing zebra and duck camo print on the sides, red stripes at the heel and polka dots on the tongue. Finishing up the design of the shoe is a Brain Dead rubber patch on the lateral sides and an upgraded off-white midsole, dressed with a repeating script that reads “To See And Be Seen As Far As The Eye Can See,” “Who Controls The Control Men” and “The Same Elsewhere.”
Priced at $109 USD, the Brain Dead x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s are set to release at select retailers like Sneakersnstuff on October 26.
For more Converse, Feng Chen Wang reworked the Chuck Taylor All Star to go along with a new fractional Spring/Summer 2019 capsule.
