Apple Announces New iPad Pro with Liquid Retina Display and Face ID

Alongside a new Mac Mini and MacBook Air, Apple announced an all-new, all-screen designed iPad Pro in 11 and 12.9-inch models. The edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display iPad features the same pixel masking as the iPhone XR and will utilize Face ID to unlock, doing away with the Home button altogether.

The device is powered by a new A12X Bionic chip, an 8-core CPU, and a 7-core GPU twice as powerful than the previous generation. Its all-day battery life offers charge-out to charge iPhones, USB-C connectivity, and up to 1TB of space. Moreover, the iPad Pro’s new second-gen Apple Pencil magnetically attaches to the top of the device for quick charging, while maintaining, as well as adding old and new functional gestures. Lastly, Apple produced a new Smart Keyboard Folio that incorporates two different viewing angles, one for your lap and the other for desktop.
