Raf Simonsgraphic-heavy Fall/Winter 2018 collection, dubbed “Youth In Motion,” drew influence from Simons’ eternal muse — youth culture — and cult German film Christiane F. wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo alike. With the full offering available in stores now, Idol Brooklyn took to Brooklyn’s Domino Park to showcase the bright layering pieces in the autumn sunshine.

Reversible parkas, chunky knits and bulbous bunny boots inform the bulky layers, with trim pants offering a stark contrast to the generous cuts above. Neutral-toned outerwear is interrupted by bold yellow, red and blue accents provided by shirting and hoodies. Along with the unmistakable hits of color, oversized hoodies, slim jeans and clutch bags alike are emblazoned with thematic prints like “DRUGS” and “XTC.” These bold-face prints underline the cool club kid vibes put forth by this season’s trim suiting and enormous, raver-style pants.

Shop the Fall/Winter 2018 Raf Simons gear on Idol Brooklyn’s web store right now.

Most recently, Simons announced plans for a major sale in his native Antwerp.
