Versace‘s characteristically excessive Chain Reaction sneakers made their debut at the brand’s Fall/Winter 2018 runway show and are indicative of how the label aims to blend its legacy of over-the-top, opulent aesthetics with more modern day styles.
Featuring a number of design elements that reference the brand’s heritage, such as the Greca lace cage, the braille midsole detailing and, perhaps most notably, the chain-link sole silhouette, the shoe embodies Versace’s decadent design approach.
Other key features include puff-croc neoprene lining, reflective tongue fabric and rubber-dipped laces — showing that no element of the design has escaped the Versace treatment.
