Alexander Wang Announces UNIQLO Underwear Collaboration
Mixing his designs with the innovative Heattech fabric.

After collaborations with adidas Originals and Gentle Monster, designer Alexander Wang is set to link up with UNIQLO for a new joint release. The collection will focus on underwear and will mix Wang’s signature designs with UNIQLO’s innovative Heattech fabric. This is the second time that Wang and UNIQLO have collaborated, with their first release almost exactly 10 years ago.
The collection will include bodysuits, tees, leggings, bras, and briefs in a range of muted tones, as well as neon green — Wang’s favorite. All of the pieces will be produced from Heattech. Speaking to Vogue about the collaboration, Wang explained that “Heattech is a program created out of innovation, function, and utility. It’s something that I’ve always been very inspired by, by the advancement and innovation in fabrication. I wanted to think about it in a way where even if it wasn’t just worn on the inside — if you wore it as a top as something to lounge around in — you feel like there’s a style, an aesthetic that could stand on its own.”
The full collection is set to arrive at UNIQLO’s web store and physical locations on November 9, with price points ranging from $15 USD to $35 USD. Keep an eye out for more information and official pictures in the near future.
