Stardew Valley is Coming to iOS
The most downloaded game for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
Eric Barone, developer of Stardew Valley, has just announced that the cult game will be made available to mobile devices, starting with Apple iOS. As a game that has already been downloaded by millions via Steam and the Nintendo Switch, Barone promises that the iOS version will be the full game, but adopted for mobile touch screens.
Stardew Valley revolves around the player inheriting a small home and a plot of land in the small down of Pelican. Inspired by Harvest Moon, the game shares similarities in that the player must go through the ritualistic chores in maintaining a farm, harvesting crops, ultimately making the farm profitable. The therapeutic game will also be transferable across platforms, meaning PC players can carry over their progress on to mobile.
Set of a launch date of October 24, the mobile version of Stardew Valley will hit the App Store for $7.99 USD. In other gaming news, BAPE announces collaboration with ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.’
