Eminem’s Satirical Rap Battle Film ‘Bodied’ Receives a New Trailer
Hitting theaters next month.
Making its rounds online as early as last summer, news of Eminem signing on to produce a rap battle film dubbed, Bodied, spread like wildfire, especially given the monumental success of his hit picture 8 Mile. And now, with the movie’s drop date quickly approaching, it’s time to check out the new trailer just prior to its November release.
Calum Worthy (Adam Merkin) stars in the satirical project, playing an unassuming, on-the-rise lyricist who jumps head first into the ultra-competitive rap battle world after claiming victory in his very first competition. Directed by Joseph Kahn, the YouTube Premium film will feature Charlamagne Tha God, Rory Uphold, Anthony Michael Hall, Dizaster, Hollow Da Don and more, while both Eminem and Dr. Dre will contribute to the film’s soundtrack. Bodied hits theaters on November 2 and later on other streaming platforms come November 28.
