Bang & Olufsen Enlists David Lynch & MoMA for Series of Speakers
Featuring details from “War Between the Shapes” and “Paris Suite.”

After revealing a gravity-defying rolling speaker last month, Bang & Olufsen has now announced a collaboration with David Lynch and MoMA. The new series of speakers features images and details from the director, screenwriter, actor, artist and musician taken from his 1970s series of works on paper titled “War Between the Shapes” and 2007’s “Paris Suite” lithographs.
The collection features four different speakers, including the portable Beoplay P2 and the classic Beoplay M5. The last two styles in the collection are hugely limited, with just five hand-signed editions of the Beoplay A9 and only one Beoplay Shape set to release. The M5 and P2 speakers will release at Bang & Olufsen stores, MoMA Design Store and via bang-olufsen.com. The more limited-edition speakers will be available exclusively from MoMA Design Store as part of an immersive Bang & Olufsen pop-up inspired by David Lynch’s films.
