The Ominous First Trailer for Stephen King's 'Pet Sematary' Remake Is Here
Church the Cat rises once again.
Given the success of 2017’s IT, all Stephen King adaptations have been fast-tracked, including Hulu’s new Castle Rock series, an upcoming sequel to The Shining, and a remake of Pet Semetary, the latter of which just debuted with a new trailer.
The movie, similar to the 1989’s original, focuses on a family whose new home includes a cemetery nearby that can revive the dead. However, unlike the campy original, this adaptation looks to stick closer to its source material and deliver the dread found in the 1983 novel.
Pet Sematary, starring John Lithgow, Jason Clarke, and Amy Seimetz, will be released in 2019. For now, check out the creepy visuals above and share your thoughts below.
