It’s not new that Versace has a Medusa sneaker model detailed with side zips. In fact, the Italian fashion house have released some in various low and high-top iterations in the past seasons.
However, its newest silhouette bears some similarity to the ever popular ACRONYM x Nike Lunar Force 1. Even with the color-block design, it’s hard to shake off the likeness in details. Almost all the panel placements are eerily the same and while the zippers don’t go as far on the Versace style, you can somehow tell that Versace most likely had the ACRONYM shoes in its kicks inspiration pile for reference. All Versace really needed was a Swoosh to complete the copy.
