Nike is gearing up for this year’s long-anticipated Air Max Day 2018 celebration with a slew of striking iterations to keep fans on their feet. One of the more popular models to release this year is the Nike Air VaporMax Plus hybrid sneaker, having first appeared in a blue treatment back in June of 2017.

Closely following the “Cargo Khaki” rendition is a head-turning “Tropical Sunset” version that boasts a gradient effect on the uppers. Light blue accents begin on the toecaps and seamlessly mesh into green, yellow, orange and deep red hues that suitably pays homage to its moniker. For added contrast, the Swoosh completes the shoe with tonal black accents on the wavy overlays, insignias, and the unmissable VaporMax-inspired sole unit. Conclusively the shoe was inspired by “palm trees blowing in the breeze at sunset on a sandy beach in Florida,” reports Sneaker News.

Check out the “Tropical Sunset” colorway above and purchase the sneaker in women’s sizes for approximately $190 USD starting January 25 at select Nike stockists.
