Karl Lagerfeld's Personal Bodyguard to Curate New Collection
Unveiling at Pitti Uomo 93 this January.
Fashion maven Karl Lagerfeld has enlisted his longtime personal secretary and bodyguard, Sebastien Jondeau, to curate a new collection for Pitti Uomo 93.
This isn’t exactly Jondeau’s first foray into fashion, having already modeled multiple menswear lines from Lagerfeld’s eponymous label. However, it will be his first time designing a capsule. According to an exclusive interview with WWD, the fledgling designer has plans to roll out a selection of ready-to-wear garments, suiting, footwear, and accessories.
The “Karl Lagerfeld Curated by Sebastien Jondeau” collection will be unveiled at Pitti Uomo 93 sometime between January 9-12 in Florence, Italy with an official rollout to stores this August. Additionally, the Chanel creative director will combine his Lagerfeld and Karl Lagerfeld labels into one collection during the menswear trade show.
