Following a small release at Foot Locker‘s Sneakeasy pop-up in NYC, Nike’s Shox Gravity is set to receive a wider release this month. Its original design dates all the way back to 1984 — 16 years before it finally released in 2000. This time around the futuristic model gets a contemporary makeover thanks to Flywire cables and simple cinch system to secure your foot. To carry out its Shox aesthetic, Nike adds twin plates complemented by foam cushioning under the heel for quick response.
The Nike Shox Gravity “Metallic Gold” drops on January 12 for a price of $140 USD at select Nike retailers.
