50 Cent Teaches Stephen Colbert How to Beef

50 Cent was a guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night. The rapper, born Curtis Jackson, and Colbert discussed a number of topics including President Donald Trump, the origin of 50’s “Fiddy” nickname, executive producing Starz’s hit show Power and more.
One of the interesting moments of the interview was when 50 Cent gave the host tips on the effectiveness of a proper beef. Throughout 50’s long career, he has been in some of the best beefs in music history, ranging from Ja Rule to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Jackson explained to Colbert that not all feuds are bad.
“You gotta create competition so you stay on your game,” he said. When Colbert named the other late night hosts that are his competition — Jimmy Kimmel, Food Network host Bobby Flay, to name a few — 50 replied and said we’re going to start a beef right now. “F*^k you Bobby,” the rapper said, as Colbert turns red and burst into laughter.
