John Cena In Talks to Star in 'Duke Nukem' Adaptation

John Cena is in the talks to become Duke Nukem in a developing Duke Nukem adaptation. The popular game franchise, which began in 1991, features the self-titled Nukem, a schlocky action-hero caricature that makes sex jokes and dismembers aliens with ridiculously big guns. Although there’s no director on board, a writer for the script is being sought for what could be Cena’s breakout role. The film is being produced by Michael Bay‘s Platinum Dunes production company and is set to be distributed by Paramount.
