Take a Look Inside Korea's First Apple Store
Putting down roots in Seoul.
After opening a new Chicago store — and plans for a space inside DC’s Carnegie Library — Apple is about to open the doors to its new location in Seoul. The store sticks to the Californian brand’s trademark aesthetic, with a minimalist feel and lots of exposed wood throughout the interior.
The stand-out feature of the space is the full-length windows, which Apple describes as “blurring the lines between the street and store.” The front of the store also includes interior trees, which mirror trees on the street outside.
Apple Garosugil will also feature space for the “Today at Apple” programme, where visitors can learn skills including photography, music, art, design and coding. Other features of the store include the Boardroom, a space for educators and developers to receive advice and specialized training, and a retail space that works in tandem with the Apple app store.
Take a look around the store above, before it officially opens on January 27. As well as unveiling this store, Apple has also recently introduced “Throttle Disabling” and four new Animoji as part of iOS 11.3.
