Apple Introduces Throttle Disabling and Four New Animoji in iOS 11.3
Alongside a couple more features.
Apple‘s iOS 11.3, which is slated to launch this spring, will feature the ability to disable processor throttling as well as introduce four new Animoji. Although the initial beta for the update is available now, the power management feature has yet to be included. Apple says once it’s added to the final build, users will be able to “see if the power management feature that dynamically manages maximum performance to prevent unexpected shutdowns, first introduced in iOS 10.2.1, is on and can choose to turn it off.”
It will also display detailed battery information for the iPhone 6 and older. One of the many features the new iOS will bring outside of an updated ARKit and Health Records component for the Health app is the introduction of four new Animoji. A bear, a dragon, a skull, and a lion will join the existing 12 and be exclusively available for the iPhone X when iOS 11.3 launches this spring.
