The Weeknd to Appear on 'Black Panther' Soundtrack
Reportedly a Kendrick Lamar collaboration.
After Kendrick Lamar’s role in the Black Panther soundtrack was teased back at the end of 2017, we’ve already seen SZA, Jay Rock and Vince Staples appear alongside the Compton rapper.
The latest artist to reportedly appear on Black Panther: The Album is The Weeknd, with the Canadian artist posting a cryptic image on Instagram. According to reports, The Weeknd’s track on the album is set to be a collaboration with Lamar, although other than that details are scarce.
The full project is set to drop on February 9, a week before the movie’s release, and is also rumored to feature a collaboration between Lamar and fellow TDE-affiliate Isiah Rashad. Get a taste for Black Panther with the first official clip of the movie, which was released earlier this week.
