Taco Bell to Bring Alcohol to More Cantina Locations
There’s only one catch.

Taco Bell has revealed plans for another significant addition to its line of Cantina restaurants. With 300 new locations in the works, it looks like alcohol will be on the menu for several of the chain’s Cantina spots.
Following the blueprint set forth by the Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina, stores in major cities like Boston and Detroit will begin serving alcoholic beverages. The liquor served will come in the form of sangria and “Twisted Freeze” drinks, which will combine frozen slush-type products with your choice of rum, vodka or tequila. Considering Taco Bell Cantina’s slot at the top of the late night food rankings, this will certainly give them the competitive edge in the market to win over all the intoxicated, hungry consumers who wander the night. The only catch: Cantinas with alcohol on the menu won’t have drive-through windows, so you will have to stumble inside to get your Twisted Freeze with tequila.
This past summer, Taco Bell also introduced another noteworthy item: the Naked Egg Taco.
