Taco Bell Dropping a Naked Egg Taco, Features a Fried Egg Shell
Breakfast will never be the same.
Taco Bell has just announced that it will be offering a fried egg shell taco dubbed the Naked Egg Taco. The new concoction was tested in Flint, Michigan for four months and will now see a nationwide release at the end of the August. Available during breakfast hours, the Naked Egg Taco will be filled with friend potatoes, cheese, and sausage or bacon. This new creation from the Yum Brands owned taco chain follows on the heels of creations like the Croissant Taco, Naked Chicken Chalupa and Naked Morning Taco where alternative taco shells were used.
The Naked Egg Taco is rolling out nationwide on August 31 for $1.99 USD but select cities will be able to try it out first thanks to OpenTable. New York will have an opportunity to try it first on August 17 followed by Los Angeles on August 25, Austin on August 26 and Chicago on August 27. Let us know if this is cop or drop.
