Jollibee Brings Its Chickenjoy Formula to a Bite-Sized Chicken Nugget Across US Locations
Six dipping sauces, four size options, and a mini bucket format anchor the new menu item.
Jollibee is putting its Chickenjoy reputation to work in a new format. The Filipino-founded chain has launched its all-new Jollibee Chicken Nuggets across US locations nationwide beginning July 2, translating the fried chicken program into a bite-sized menu item.
The nugget launch arrives at a specific inflection point for Jollibee’s US trajectory. The brand landed on the inaugural TIME100 Industry Leaders in Food & Drink shortlist earlier this year and was named to the 2026 TIME100 Most Influential Companies list as an industry “Disrupter,” recognitions that frame the chain less as a regional entrant and more as an established force in the fast-food category. That framing extends a broader pattern of Jollibee treating the US as a serious growth market rather than a satellite territory, with the chain steadily expanding its physical footprint stateside since its first American store opened in Daly City, California in 1998. The nuggets sit within that expansion narrative as a mainstream-category play designed to widen Jollibee’s fast-food footprint beyond its signature Chickenjoy offering.
The product itself keeps a direct through-line to that Chickenjoy legacy. The nuggets are made with 100% all-white meat chicken breast, fried to a crispy golden exterior while maintaining a tender interior that echoes the textural profile Jollibee has built the Chickenjoy program around. The bite-sized format is served in mini buckets that mirror the presentation of Jollibee’s classic fried chicken bucket, a visual choice that positions the nuggets as an official extension of the Chickenjoy lineage rather than a standalone menu addition. Size options run across 5-piece, 8-piece, 15-piece, and 30-piece configurations, giving the launch room to function as both a solo snack and a group-scale order.
The sauce lineup extends the brand’s identity further. Alongside Jollibee’s iconic gravy, five additional dipping sauces round out the nugget program, letting guests pair the item across a range of flavor profiles. The gravy inclusion is particularly notable, since gravy pairing has been part of Jollibee’s fried chicken identity for decades and rarely appears in the US fast-food nugget category as a standard dipping option. That detail preserves Jollibee’s cultural specificity within an otherwise universal menu category, threading the brand’s Filipino roots into an American fast-food staple without diluting either.

The Jollibee Chicken Nuggets are available starting July 2 across all Jollibee US locations via in-store, drive-thru, online ordering, and the Jollibee App for delivery and mobile to-go.
