New York Fashion Week is set to officially launch this Thursday with over 130 shows taking place. However, Kanye West’s YEEZY Season 6 debut may not be one of them. It was only last July when reports of Kanye nabbing an official slot at the impending NYFW event surfaced online. Season 6 was rumored to launch at an undisclosed space on September 13, but that is no longer the case.

Earlier today, Harper’s Bazaar published an article detailing why ‘Ye decided to call things off for his 2018 spring/summer show. The fashion mag has since deleted the post on its website, however UPROXX still has their report live.

We should also point out that YEEZY Season 6 was never officially confirmed for NYFW, so the Harper’s report doesn’t mean the brand is behind schedule or ditching the collection entirely. Maybe Kanye intends to bring his latest YEEZY show to another city, say Paris?

Nevertheless, stay tuned for updates regarding YEEZY Season 6 and let us know your thoughts.
