Filling Pieces Teams up With Patron of the New to Reimagine Its Roots Runner
An ode to Patron of the New’s Tribeca roots.
Following up from its 2017 fall/winter “MOVE WITHOUT BARRIERS” collection, which hit our radars late last month, Filling Pieces is back this time joining forces with upscale New York fashion retailer Patron Of The New. With FP’s Roots Runner chosen to represent the partnership, a flurry of luxe design accents were applied to the silhouette — adding an air of opulence.
Offered in tonal black and white iterations, the designer boutique applied quilted-padded uppers in the shape of a triangle — an ode to its Tribeca area roots — and a gradient padding effect making its way from the heel to the toe. As far as construction goes, the black rendition is fashioned from butter soft suede, while the white pair boasts a premium Italian leather composition. A custom brick red shoebox completes the package — creatively alluding to the plentiful brickwork buildings piercing the Tribeca skyline. The shoe will be a Patron Of The New exclusive offered in a limited run of just 151 pairs and will be available on September 9.
