Brandalism & Medicom's New 'Bomb Hugger' Toy Honors Banksy's Original Stencil
A three-dimensional replica of the iconic graffiti artwork.
UK anti-advertising imprint Brandalism has partnered once again with Medicom on new figurine spotlighting Banksy’s iconic Bomb Hugger artwork. The anti-war piece portrays a young girl wrapping her arms around a nuclear missile — first debuted by London’s Pictures on Walls in 2003 as a limited edition print. The latest sculpture marks the second polystone iteration from the duo who initially launched a 320mm tall variant of the same artwork back in January. However, this new rendition is coated in tonal black detailing which aptly mimics the original stencil that Banksy placed on a concrete wall in London.
The Bomb Hugger toy is available for purchase at HK-based retailer WOAW’s official online shop for approximately $580 USD.
