adidas Originals' München "Oktoberfest" Is Made for Spilled Beer
Also throw up resistant.
adidas Originals is celebrating this year’s Oktoberfest with a special version of the München model that not only celebrates the drinking festival via colorway, but function as well. This edition of the classic tennis silhouette draws inspiration from traditional lederhosen, boasting a charcoal grey suede upper, tan leather at Three Stripes branding and heel tab, a crisp white midsole with embossed detailing, white festive embroidery at the heel and “prost” (German for “cheers”) printed on the side. Finally, woven laces and a red/white check tablecloth-inspired inner lining rounds out the Alpine vibes. Function wise, a DPBR coating protects the premium leather upper from spilled beer and other unsightly liquids that one is to expect at Oktoberfest.
You’ll be able to pick up the adidas Originals München “Oktoberfest” on September 2 for a price of approximately $240 USD at select retailers such as 43einhalb.
