Rumors about a NMD City Sock in GORE-TEX from adidas have been around for a while, and a new set of images appear to confirm its arrival. The addition of a GORE-TEX membrane to the normally knitted upper would make the sneaker 100% waterproof, meaning that the popular silhouette would finally be suitable for all weather conditions. Additionally, the new images show the sneaker in a clean black colorway, with a white NMD BOOST sole. The finishing touch is the contrasting white GORE-TEX logo on the shoe’s instep and label on the heel.

As of yet, there has been no official confirmation from adidas about the latest addition to the City Sock family, so there’s no release date or pricing information. Keep checking back for an update.
