PUMA Unveils the Ukiyo-E Inspired "Marine" Pack

For its latest capsule collection, PUMA has taken inspiration from Ukiyo-E — a traditional form of Japanese art design. The “Marine” pack pays tribute to a national holiday in Japan, with ‘Marine Day’ held each year to celebrate the ocean surrounding the various islands of Japan. The three-sneakers pack sees the Disc Blaze, Easy Rider and Clyde silhouettes all given a rework that is reminiscent of some of Japan’s most iconic art, while the accompanying collection of bomber jackets and tees also bring to mind the wave-inspired art form. The PUMA “Marine” pack is dropping on July 13, from retailers including London’s FootPatrol.

PUMA has also recently unveiled three new colorways of its “Clyde Sock” recently being announced.
