McDonald's Officially Adds The Chicken Big Mac to Its Menu in Australia
Extra Big Mac sauce, please!

McDonald’s has a new oversized sandwich for hungry customers in Australia, and it looks like a Big Mac. The Chicken Big Mac replaces the frozen beef patties with chicken patties and it’s a healthier option for those counting their calories. Apparently, the Chicken Big Mac has been an option on McDonald’s secret menu for some time now, but it has officially been added to the main menu in Australia, Qatar, Egypt, the Netherlands, and the UAE.
News Corp Australia reports McDonald’s will serve the Chicken Big Mac to customers until July 18. And, like the original Big Mac, it comes with special sauce, lettuce, onions, pickles, and two patties sandwiched between three buns.
“The iconic Big Mac and the McChicken are among our most popular burgers, so it made sense to mix up these two classics and give our customers a new and exciting product to try — the Chicken Big Mac,” said McDonald’s Australia’s CMO, Jenni Dill.
Details regarding a possible U.S. release have not been revealed, but customers can keep requesting it from their local Mickey D’s.
