Listen to Lorde's New Single, “Perfect Places"

After teasing the single earlier this week, Lorde‘s newest track from her long-awaited, forthcoming sophomore album, Melodrama, has arrived. Co-produced with Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff, “Perfect Places” is one of the eleven tracks they worked on together for the new album. As for her inspiration, last November she told fans that “My heart broke. I moved out of home and into the city and I made new friends and started to realize that no-one is just good or bad, that everyone is both. I started to discover in a profound, scary, blood-aching way who I was when I was alone, what I did when I did things only for myself.”
