BMW Unveils Badass "Black Fire" Editions of the X5 M & X6 M
Featuring “Sapphire Black Metallic” paint jobs, carbon fiber mirror caps, and more.
The X5 M and X6 M are the subject of BMW‘s latest special edition release as the German automotive giant has unveiled gorgeous “Black Fire” editions of the vehicles. Marked by a “Sapphire Black Metallic” exterior, the release sees both cars with blacked-out grills and matching 21-inch forged alloy wheels to boot while carbon fiber takes care of the mirror caps. The makeover also extends to the interior as the cabin is done up in black Merino leather with “Mugello Red” accents, piano black trim and anthracite-colored head liners. Other details include optional Alcantara-wrapped M Performance steering wheels — complete with light blue accents — and M compound brakes with blue calipers. Under the hood, the crossovers retain their 4.4-liter M TwinPower V8 engines, eight-speed automatic transmissions and four-wheel drive systems.
Look for the “Black Fire” duo to hit dealers in Germany this August.
