First Trailer for Marvel's 'The Defenders' Shows Us How Our Heroes Meet
A ragtag New York City quartet.
After dropping off a teaser back in April with the release date for The Defenders, Marvel and Netflix have finally released the first trailer for the new series showing us how our heroes meet. We start off with Jessica Jones in an interrogation room when Matt Murdock aka Daredevil bursts in and says he’s her lawyer and then transition into a scene where Danny Rand aka Iron Fist exchanges punches with Luke Cage in an alley. Tying all the series together is Claire Temple played by Rosario Dawson who mediates between Luke and Danny. Eventually we get thrown into the action at Midland Circle’s offices and see Elektra (Elodie Yung) and Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) before ending at a dinner table with the quartet in a Chinese restaurant.
