Last July, Marvel and Netflix debuted a teaser trailer for The Defenders during Comic-Con. Recently, the streaming giant unveiled a mysterious new teaser that features the four main heroes inside an elevator at the Midland Circle offices — a company that is apparently undergoing a sketchy operation via Daredevil season two. More specifically, the short clip features Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Danny Rand (Iron Fist). At the end of the video, Jones smashes the surveillance cam at exactly 08:18:20:17 which is ostensibly the launch date for the incoming series on August 18, 2017.

In case you want to know what exactly is going on here, Entertainment Weekly professed:

Each Defender has arrived separately at the offices of Midland Circle and none of them expected to cross paths. But before they can properly meet and greet, the four have wound up trapped in the middle of a corridor and must brawl their way past a group of enemies.

Check out the teaser above and let us know any theories you may have surrounding The Defenders.
